Flowers, Flowers, Flowers

Flowers are an integral part of any wedding. They add beauty, class and elegance No wedding is complete without them. So where do you begin? First, you'll need to have your colors picked out. Not every flower comes in every color. What are your favorite flowers? Are they within your budget? Are they in season? Do they match the season? These are a few questions to consider as you begin.

What flowers do you need? Front and center is the bridal bouquet. Many like to have small bouquets for their bridesmaids, as well, and of course, the flower girl, if you have one (or several). Next are the boutonnieres for the groom and groomsmen, and the fathers and grandfathers. Then there are corsages for the mothers and grandmothers. Not everyone opts for all these flowers, but it is definitely something to consider.

Those are the flowers for people, now what about the venue? Are you using flowers for your centerpieces? How about fresh flowers on your cake? There are arches, and sprays and pedestals that can be made or decorated with flowers. Do you want the option of using the flowers to decorate your home afterwards? If that's the case, then silk flowers are the way to go.

Whatever you decide, make sure your flowers and decorations are a reflection of your personality and taste. This is your wedding, after all!
